ADA APA DENGAN PUTUS CINTA?

Life is a learning process. Did you learn anything?

Belajarlah memperbaiki diri sendiri melalui pengalaman.

WE'LL CARRY ON!

You have not moved on yet and he/she is still holding you back. Come on, carry on with your life.

Anda mesti belajar meninggalkan kenangan lalu jika mahu teruskan hidup.

Law of Attraction - How it Works?

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne reveals that the only one law rules our life and that is the Law of Attraction. So what do this Law of Attraction tells us? How does it work?

Actually, the speakers in the movie, The Secret, will be launching a home seminar called The Science of Getting Rich. They would discuss more on the Law of Attraction and how to apply it in our daily lives. But basically, the movie states that we can interact with the universe.

Many would ask how? The answer is simple. The universe is made up of energy, and we are also made up of energy. In fact we are spiritual in nature. Our main components are atom and these atoms are made up of energy. It is very hard to explain but this is what the movie tells us. We are composed of energy that can interact with each other.

We can interact with the universe around us. If only that we focus our selves on the good feelings that we have, we are telling the universe to attract all the positive things to us in order for us to rich our dreams. If we focus on the bad side of our life, we are telling the universe about these bad and negative things, so it would always attract our lives. The law of attraction is very simple. Just focus on the things that can make us happy and we will attract good things to come into our life. We may think that it is impossible but there is nothing to lose by thinking positively, right?

To understand more on this issue, just watch the movie The Secret and I can assure you it can change your outlook in life.

Marching the Black Parade

When I was A young boy, My father Took me into the city To see a marching band. He said, "Son when You grow up, Would you be The saviour of the broken, The beaten and the damned?"~song: Welcome to The Black Parade,by My Chemical Romance.

This song, as described by gerard when he recently appeared on fuse, says the man in the song, they called the patient, is dying in a hospital. And his most treasured memory was when his father took him to a parade when he was a young boy. And gerard says he believes that when you die, death comes to you in any form you want it to. So as this man is dying, remembering his father and the parade, death comes to him as a black parade~ by anonymous

is it hard when the love one is leaving? let it be our little child, spouse, mother, father or if we ourself are in the process of leaving the love one behind.

fear of death.

i have no intention to write about motivation for this post. tell me how you or the people you love encounter death.

I DARE YOU

by Oscar Bruce

The world at large steals your youthful enthusiasm and unbridled confidence , piece by piece, bit by bit. Fiends and relatives throw sand in your dream machine. They've conformed to the pressures to become ordinary, and insisted you do the same. They compromised by downsizing their dreams and restricting their field of vision.

I DARE YOU to free your mind from these cultural constraints. To RESIST the pressure to become ordinary. To IGNORE those who give you're their version of why you can not rise above mediocrity.

I WANT TO CHALLENGE YOU to free yourself from the shackles of your past conditioning. To break the chains that bind you to false beliefs about what you can do with your life.

I DARE YOU to aim at something worthy of the best that is in you. I maintain that you are a better, more capable person than you have experienced so far, or that others have led you to believe you are.

TODAYS PREVAILING IDEOLOGY IS NOT SELF IMPROVEMENT. It is self preservation. People no longer dream of surmounting difficulties to gain all they desire. Most people live in complete servitude to the "survival mentality". They hope merely for "coping".

I AM PROMISING YOU that living aggressively changes the whole complexion of life. Not until you dare to attack will you master your fears completely. Suddenly you step into a new world of adventure. Horizons are pushed back on all sides. Opportunities open up that were previously unseen. The sleeping giant within you is stirred and awakened. On that priceless day you will discover that have a new power. The power to rise above the lives of those around you.

CHALLENGES ARE THE STUFF OF LIFE. Going after what you want, pursuing what is important to you. Everybody loves to be a winner, a star, a hero. Nobody want to be a loser, a failure. Americans love to be number one.

IT IS THE BASIC NATURE OF MAN TO ACHIEVE. To explore the full potential of the human spirit. Deep down in every heart is the desire to be somebody, to get somewhere, to be respected. Every individual yearns to make something of his or her life.

NO PERSON CAN BE HAPPY unless they are expressing their inherent potential, fully and completely. A life that satisfies is impossible without a sense of achievement and fulfillment.

THE BRAIN NEEDS OBJECTIVES. Most of us begin our journey with no end in mind. Then one day we find ourselves somewhere we don't want to be and don't have a clue how we got there. Nothing diminishes a life more than nowhere to go. A mind with idle time and nowhere to go becomes filled with contradiction and doubt. Nothing enriches a life like being a part of something big.

THINK WHAT IT WILL MEAN TO YOU to possess the calm assurance that you are one of the few people in the world who know exactly where they are going and how they are going to get there - and that attainment is only a matter of time. That you have something to believe in , a mission that gives purpose to your life. Your days filled with meaningful tasks.

I DARE YOU to think bigger, to act bigger and to become bigger and I promise you a richer life, a more exciting life. The rewards for daring in this world teaming with opportunity were never so rich or so plentiful. Science, business, education are all looking for rare individuals who dare to face life creatively and aggressively. Who dare to attach, rather than to defend or compromise.

IS WHAT YOU HAVE NOW, WORTH WHAT YOU MIGHT BE MISSING?

I DARE you to stop putting conditions on the word commitment and dedication. I dare you to stop putting limitations on your dreams

Can You Handle Deferred Success?

Are you willing to fail to the point of success?

No! Well you should be.

Failure is what leads to success; it is proof of action. All your efforts that lead to failure should be praised and rewarded, for they are moving you in the direction of the success.

In all areas of life, the people who are forging ahead with progress are the ones willing to fail, because they know enough failures lead to success. They know that success is just being deferred with each failure, not prevented.

The only way to surely fail is to stop attempting. If you fail twice and give up, you can now be sure you will not succeed. But you are the one placing the guarantee on it not the situation.

The key is to just keep going.

Thomas Edison sought failure eagerly, he knew with each failure he was a little closer to a solution. The faster he failed, the sooner he got to the prize.

Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. - - Winston Churchill

When the results don't come out as you want it's time to review what transpired then determine a new adjusted plan of action.

There is a success called plan called, plan, do, review, which is self explanatory and simple. But this basic process repeated over and over will bring you closer and closer to the intended result. Implement this simple process I everything you do and you will see two things. You will start to embrace the natural process of discovery and understanding, and you will see success.

Fear is one of our worst enemies when it comes to success. In two ways many people allow fear to defeat them.

One, the fear of failure right from the beginning prevents them from even get started. They are so concerned about what could possibly go wrong that even getting started is too hard. Second, they allow the fear of continual failure to become stronger than their convictions and drive. They allow their fears to meld with worry to sabotage their intentions.

There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure. - -Paulo Coelho

So what does it take to overcome these fears?

1- Determination--Having a very strong drive and focus on the desired result helps to keep one strong through adversity. In the classic book "Think And Grow Rich", Napolean Hill said you needed to develop a white-hot heated burning desire to succeed. When this burning desire becomes strong enough it will override the disappointments of interim setbacks, giving you the drive to persist.

2- Perception--A key trait of the people who can accept failure and forge through it, is they don't see failure as the end. Rather they look at it as a learning opportunity, a point to assess, adjust and go again. How you perceive something and interpret it determines how you allow it to effect you. And this is certainly the case with the fear of failure. The person who can continue through setbacks is one who sees them as momentary not permanent.

3- Self-concept--How you see yourself in terms of your right, ability and worthiness to be doing something can effect your confidence behind your pursuits. It is very helpful to come to a point where you know you are worthy of your desired goal. Know that you are just a worthy as anyone else and that delays and failures along the way are not signs that you don't deserve it. They are merely the means of discovery that everyone experiences. Work on yourself, develop a strong high self-esteem and you will be able to weather the storm.

If you want something bad enough you should be willing to stick with it to the point where there are no more failure options.

Failure really is a good thing. The people who fail the most win the most. I'm sure you have heard before that Babe Ruth with his home run record also holds the record for the most strikeouts. How can this be? Well, more strikeouts show more opportunities for homeruns. If he did not have all the opportunities to keep attempting home runs, he would never have hit them.

More attempts mean more strikeouts and more homeruns. Thomas Edison utilized this principle also, he was relentless and conducted experiments at a fast pace in order to get through the learning and adjusting phase quickly. He knew it was just how the process worked. There was no master conspiracy against him making things more difficult, just the natural process.

Both of these men knew that success was merely deferred, not impossible.

Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing. - -Denis Waitley

Don't get mad, don't get disappointed, just keep going.

Focus your sights in the target and don't let the failures deter you. Visualize the things that don't go according to plan as deferred success, success only delayed for a while. Don't allow failure to be guaranteed by quitting. The success is there, you just need to properly align yourself with it and this may take a few or even many attempts. Are you determined to have a resolve stronger than the setbacks?

It comes down to choice, are you going to succumb to the roadblocks or are you going to take command of your personal growth and choose to learn from the failures? Will you continue to readjust and keep going at it until you eliminate all the reasons why not?

I believe that one of the characteristics of the human race - possibly the one that is primarily responsible for its course of evolution - is that it has grown by creatively responding to failure. Glen Seaborg - American Scientist & Nobel Laureate

THE BULLSH*T FOLDER: Critics Management Files

The ‘bullsh*t’ folder contains a lot of critics and negative statements made by other people about us. It is a folder keeping separated records about whom, where, what had been said and when did the verbal offense happened which does not interfere with other positive thinking databases.

I attended a motivational speech delivered by an MLM millionaire, and the energetic speaker asked the audience what excuses people made when they were invited into the business? What do people say to those whom involved in the business? Not enough time, not enough money, too risky, can’t speak in front of the public, too shy, too short, too square, too oblong, the list adds on quickly until there was almost 44 excuses and negative remarks listed.

Then he strikethrough every single word and said, “these are bullsh*t. They are what?”
The excited crowd replied powerfully, “BULLSH*T!!!”

Now, I might seems like enjoying myself reciting that word too frequent, they are not top paying adsense keyword, but my message here is to make strong impression on the ‘type of folder’. Some people bring your motivation down because they can’t see how you can become better than them. Some felt as if your dream are attacking or challenging them, and they can’t imagine you become better than before, as well as better than them. So save those words in your memory, it is something as important as bullsh*t.

What make a sustainable self development is always think optimistically, despite of what other people tell you. Wealth and success are no genetic engineering; the millionaire has to fight for their goals because someone labeled them as ‘average or less ability’. They think of success instead of failure, and they practice believing in themselves as well as hard work to reduce fear. They ignore critisms and built a very competitive spirit to in the money game.

Just like my sergeant always told us, “kena marah, maki, belasah tu semua, hujung kentut je, faham?”

“FAHAM, STAPPP!!!”

Amin.

INTO THE MILLIONAIRE MIND

There is more than one way to live this life. I am currently reading a motivational book entitled The Millionaire Mind, published by Bantam Book, authored by Thomas J. Stanley (2001), a professor of Georgia State University. He spends 34 years researching on the millionaire community. He is one of the modern days Napoleon Hill. His approach is academically oriented research while Hill concentrated on the philosophies and interviews with millionaires.

REAL vs MYTHS ABOUT MILLIONAIRES
What fascinating about the book is it uncovers the real life of millionaires, which most of time surprised me because it is 360degree different from what you see on TV. What kind of house a millionaire will look for when buying a new one? A new, modern house located at young neighborhood? Wrong. They prefer older house in older and friendly neighbourhood, because they believe it is better to purchase existed house than indulge into building business. Cost-effectiveJ. Anyway, who can assure the house really worth the asking price? There is no record yet. What about groceries? Do they go for expensive outlets? They prefer to shop for bulky goods at warehouse stores, they made shopping list, they repaired old shoes rather than buy a new one and most of them refinished their furniture rather than buy a brand new one. Well, that is not too difficult for us to do, isn’t it?

MODERATE LIVING
They live moderately below their earning. How about vacation? Paris, London, New York? Unlike the beauties and celebrities, only 4% skiing in Alps, 3% cruising around the world and 20% went to Paris with some of it subsidized by business purposes. 85% of them spent their nonworking time with tax consultant. Yeap. 86% of them visit the museum and 68% involved in community activities. I feel glad I’m an introvert.

ITS CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE THAT COUNT
These millionaires didn’t shine very much in schooldays (majority of them equals to CGP 2.6). Most of them were told they are not smart enough, too slow in learning and averaged in intelligence. But they are the type of people who think differently, find a niche business they love the most and have high creative intelligence.

THE KEY TO SUCCESS
The key is to think differently. They tend to look at things at different perspective. Rather than follow the crowd, they see a niche that can profit in the future and indulge their soul and energy to make it work. They are the type of students who give two answers and some descriptions in all objective test paper.

So that is what the millionaires do. Finally that makes sense to me what pakdi really wants to say about a classic video clip in his blog. The clip is about a few people who argue on the right formula for a math question. They really have different, silly calculation to get the same answer, just like the millionaires did. There is more than one way to live this life.watch this vid at pakdi's blog: Esprit De Corps

Focus Beyond Success

Many people get really anxious when studying for the exams such as the PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) and so their anxiety works against them. The reason that they are anxious is largely because of their fear of failure. We could say that their belief in the likelihood of their failure is stronger that their belief in their success. In order to find a way out of this mess, it helps to know a little of how the mind works.

Everybody wants to be successful. Of course it could be argued that some people obviously want to fail in life – but that means that they want to be successful in failing. And so when they eventually DO fail, they succeeded in achieving their life’s main goal. And that’s a level of success that few of us achieve.

When aiming for a goal, it is very important to concentrate on the successful outcomes of your task, rather than on the goal itself. For example, if you are studying for the PMP exam, you should focus on what you intend to do once you have your certification, rather than just on having letters after your name. You should concentrate on the benefits after the goal is achieved, because your energy ends where you have your focus (I’ll come back to this later).

For example, suppose you are playing soccer and you have to take a penalty kick.
If you concentrate really hard on taking the kick, you will become anxious and may kick the ball badly.

The trick is to imagine that you have just scored the winning goal. Imagine the crowd cheering -- actually hear them in your mind -- and hear them calling your name. Imagine how good the success feels, and how proud of yourself you feel. Imagine the other soccer players running up to you and hugging you and congratulating you.

If you do this, then you will relax and actually score the goal.

Because if you can truly make your mind believe that you can truly make something happen, then your mind will do all that it can to make it happen (this is explained by “expectancy theory”).

So if you say to someone “study hard, and try hard to pass the exam,” that is a waste of time because they are already doing that, and concentrating more on the problems will make them anxious and doubt their abilities.

It is much better to get them to focus beyond the end result. Tell them to think about how good they will feel when they pass the PMP exam. And how good it will feel, pinning on the little gold badge.

Tell them to imagine how wonderful and proud they will feel the first day they step back into their place of work as a PMP, to give the good news to their boss.

Tell them to imagine that they’re being interviewed in the future by a reporter from a big magazine, because the magazine wants to print a feature article on their successes.
Tell them to imagine how good it feels to be so successful in life.
Once they believe that, it will start to happen.

Your energy ends where you have your focus

Now, coming back to this statement. It sounds “New age”, but it’s not. A long time ago I practiced karate for a while. This is a very relaxing sport, which seems to be largely concerned with smashing things. I was trying to break wooden planks, but with no success.

My understanding of the “formula” was:

Strength + technique + tough hands
= (whatever you like/don’t like) smashed to bits.

I had the strength and the tough hands; in fact I could hit the plank repeatedly without hurting myself too much, and the technique appeared to be right too.

But then, as a result of some research, I started really believing that I could break the plank.

So now my formula became:

Strength + belief + technique + tough hands = (whatever you like/don’t like) smashed to bits.

So I focused and my mental and physical energy on a single point on the plank (and pictured it breaking) then hit it really hard. But I still couldn’t break it.

Then some time later I met a really sweet girl, who had an incredible knack for smashing things, let me into her secret.
She said, “Your problem is that you are focusing on the plank, but that’s were your energy ENDS, because your energy ends where you have your focus. If you want to break the plank, you have to focus on a spot 6 inches BEHIND the plank.”

So once my focus (or goal) was to reach a spot behind the plank, my energy ended 6 inches behind the plank, rather than on it’s surface. I would like to say that I was able to smash the plank on my very next attempt. That was not the case, because I was still training my mind to accept the new focus. But only a few days later I was able to smash it.

And I would like to say that the girl and I developed a smashing relationship, but it was not to be, because her focus lay beyond me.

KEBEBASAN KEWANGAN MELALUI JALAN IBADAH (part II)

RAHSIA JUTAWAN ISLAM TERBONGKAR

KEBEBASAN KEWANGAN MELALUI JALAN IBADAH

(Al-quran, Surah Ath-Thalaq ayat 2-3)

Saya ingin mengupas rahsia sebuah buku, Amalan Murah Rezeki Kekayaan: Berdasarkan Ilmu Hikmat Islam selenggaraan M. Ali Hassan Umar. Menurut para imam dan masyayikh: Imam Al Ghazali, As Sayuti, Ahmad bin Ali Al Bunni, Ad Dairabi, Ad Dumairi, At Talsani, Al Marzuqi, As Syazili, Abdul Qadir Jilani An Nazili, dan lain-lain,

MAHAKARYA CINTA: Bagaimana Jutawan Memilih Permata

Kau bagaikan udara
Tanpamu ku lemah
Pasti aku tak berdaya
Kerana kau mahakarya cinta

Bijak yang mereka maksudkan pula adalah the ability to learn and adjust to anything.

Marrying into Money.

FEAR OF FAILING

THE BIGGEST ENEMY OF SUCCESS
Why do we tend to make more excuses when feel afraid of failing? Excuses are always there. It is our nature to create ‘logical reasons’, ‘facts’ and ‘the truth’ to compliments the ‘fear of failing’ defense mechanism. Most of the time, we are not ready for the consequences. We don’t dare to take the pain, to hear the bad news or to risk the reputation. According to Mark Victor Hansen, the author of Dare To Win, F.E.A.R may be seen as acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself…~ Franklin D. Roosevelt.

FEAR DRAINS YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE
Fear is human natural defense system; it is good in critical time. But be aware, this type of fear limits us from trying. It is the biggest enemy of success! It creates roadblocks, anxiety, guilt and defensive behavioral which lead to a dead-end. It paralyses your desire. The more we think we want to make a change, the more uncomfortable the issue becomes. Do you notice how fear corrodes your self-confidence, self esteem and ambition? As long as we let fear control us, we will never dare to fail, or win. What makes you afraid the most, fear of failure or fear of success?

Confront your fear, and you can make them disappears ~ Napoleon Hill

MOMENTUM AGAINST INERTIA
To overcome fear, you need momentum against inertia. Momentum is the energy to MOVE an object from immobile state to moving state. Inertia is the energy inside a still object which REFUSES TO CHANGE from staying still, into moving. Fear of failure, is principle of science, you know. So there is solution to it and you can free yourself from fear.

Success is not something you get too easy, well, so do in getting failure.

BREAK AWAY
the key is to overcome fear.
whenever you are push into difficult situation, face the fear. automatically calm yourself, not paralyzed yourself. take it as you are. dont feel paralyzed by the thought of making mistakes, be cool after mistakes, remember it is a lesson. a part of success. think of doing whatever you can do to make it work. whenever you want to do something different, DARE yourself. what do you got to loose when you dare to try? loose you fear.

FULL METAL JACKET: the spirit of teamwork & leadership

teamwork and leadership are marriage made in heaven. how it is true. when i was a cadet, our coaching officers always emphasized on teamwork spirit and leadership quality.

i can still remember how my captain took it seriously.
when we were juniors, after a celebration on the end of annual training camp, we were supposed to regroup or we call it "roll-call" before dismissed. the rank holder counted our strength, and 3 of our squads were missing. they went home early to sleep, one of them went somewhere outside camp and they missed cleaning the place after party was over. we were tortured as long as they didnt return to the squads. my three poor friends get a loud slap across their faces. we felt pity for all the blame they had to take. and they felt guilty for putting everybody else into trouble.

flashforward after 3 years, we were in senior year. the final year is very critical for students, we have projects, datelines and tournament to entertain. all of us have personal commitements, we were torn between teamwork commitements and individual needs. without team spirit, our goal in tournament is nothing but a participation. Again we were tortured in the middle of the night and spend the night evaluate our priorities. it was not easy for everyone to settle on one decision, but right desicion making is number one in the list of winning the game.

a strong teamwork is crucial. different individual have different value and habit. we see discipline, ethic and commitement rather SUBJECTIVELY. when you think punctuality is very important, there are other people who dont take it serious. in order to syncronized the differences and bring people together, we need guidelines. to foster a team spirit needs leadership.

Learn What Constitutes A Great Leader Then Become One Yourself

Leaders are born. Do you agree or disagree?

Sorry, there are no scientific proofs or guiding rules to substantiate this allegation.

Simply put, the potential to lead is based on the ability of a person to persuade or make others follow willingly. Leadership is a skill. Like any other skill, such as driving and biking, it can be learned.

Most of the well-known leaders started from zero, hardly knowing anything related to leadership. Others were even a burden to society until some twist of fate or circumstance brought forth their good side and provided the opportunity for them to show their leadership abilities.

If leadership can be acquired, it is worth considering what constitutes a great leader:

1. Some leaders did not plan to become one. They just made the right action at the right place and at the right time. A person who makes wise decisions and equates the right action in pressing times has the capacity to become a great leader.

2. The ability to command or delegate without coercion or intimidation is essential in a leader.

3. A leader takes responsibility for his follower's actions. This is under the principle of chain of command.

4. The attainment of objectives and welfare of his followers are of paramount importance to the leader.

5. Leaders do not have the monopoly of knowledge. In certain cases, the follower is more intelligent than the leader. This is especially true when it comes to specialized fields.

6. A leader knows how to give credit where it is due. He recognizes the help and inputs of his team and followers.

7. In making decisions, a leader must be objective. He seeks all information and listens to opinion of his team. From there, he makes his own decision.

8. A leader must know the best time to utilize monetary and non-monetary compensation to motivate followers to the achievement of the team's objectives. Uninspiring leaders only use material compensation to command obedience from his followers.

9. A leader knows how to capitalize on his followers' capabilities and strengths for the attainment of their objective.

10. A leader must be able to inspire others, show enthusiasm, and arouse interest among his followers.

Leadership is a skill that can be learned. It hones the persuasive abilities of a person in order to convince other people to take the best option.

With this checklist on hand, are you ready to lead? All you have to do is read the list and seek to apply each point in your everyday life. Pretend if you have to but do it. Do this and you will soon embody the skill of a leader.

'Dopey' Sylvester Stallone- Made his Dream of Stardom a Must

Surely one of the best examples of the power of commitment and how 'doing whatever it takes will get you what you want' is the story of Sylvester Stallone.

At his peak, Stallone was one of the most popular and highly paid stars in Hollywood, commanding a fee of US$20m per movie. Was he just born under a lucky star? Was he a naturally talented actor? Was he at the right place at the right time? Hardly. He was someone who seemed to have all the odds stacked up against him.

His family was so poor that his mother had to give birth to him on the doorsteps of a school. A blotched delivery by students caused a facial nerve to be severed, leaving him paralyzed on the right side of his face. As a result, Stallone had to live the rest of his life with slurred speech. He even had to deal with having a drooping lower lip and being made fun of because of his name 'Sylvester' (associated with the Looney Tunes cat). Despite all these limitations, young Stallone dreamed of becoming an actor and inspiring millions of people through his movies.

As you know many young people go through a phase of wanting to be an actor, a star, the difference between Stallone and the rest of youthful dreamers was that his dream was not a merely wishful thinking. To Stallone, it was an absolute must. He was truly committed to doing whatever it took to make it happen.

First he enrolled in acting school and then started going for auditions. Predictably, with his wooden acting, his dopey looks and his slurred speech, Stallone was rejected for every part he applied for. But he never gave up. Doggedly he just kept changing his strategy and taking action.

The way he landed his first part is a fine example of how he was willing to do whatever it took. When he was rejected after yet another audition, he pulled up a chair in front of the manager's office and sat down, refusing to leave unless they gave him a chance. After sitting there for hours, they were so moved by how much he wanted a chance that they relented and gave him a part. Although he appeared for a couple of minutes (as an extra), it gave him that first breakthrough he was after.

Unfortunately, that experience was followed by yet another string of unsuccessful attempts at getting another acting job. At that point, his wife told him to give up his 'stupid dream' and get a real job. His reply was, 'If I get another job, I would lose the only thing I have got going for me, my hunger.' 'By quitting and getting a job, I would be selling out on my dream'.

Stallone eventually wound up so broke and desperate that he was forced to sell his dog for $50 in order to survive. It was the saddest moment in his life because his dog was the one friend he had got left.

At this, the lowest point in his life, he watched a boxing match between then world heavyweight champion Muhammed Ali and Chuck Wepner, an underdog that everyone thought would be defeated within three rounds. What no one expected was Wepners' determination and tenacity. He lasted the total of fifteen rounds with Ali, just refusing to go down.

Sly was so inspired by what he saw that he had visions in his head about a movie that he was going to write. He started writing profusely for 72 hours non-stop until he finished the manuscript for 'Rocky'. He was so excited by the script because in his mind he knew that this was going to be the movie that would change his life and his fortune.

But when he went round attempting to sell his script, everyone felt that it was too predictable and that nobody would be interested in watching a movie about boxing. But he didn't give up. He kept on going and going until one company made him an offer of 125,000 for the script and the rights to make the movie. This should have made Sly overjoyed but his dream was to be an actor and not a writer.

So, he told them that the condition of sale was that he be cast as the lead actor. They objected saying, 'You're a writer! you're not an actor!' 'There is no way we will let you act!' But Sly stood his ground and refused to sell the script if he wasn't the lead actor. They even increased their offer to $250,000, but Sly kept insisting that he fitted the role of 'Rocky', and no one else. Although he was broke and hungry, he refused to sell out his dream for a six- figure pay check. That was his level of commitment!

Eventually they reluctantly agreed, on the condition that the movie be made on a shoe string budget of less than a million dollars and Stallone would get only $35,000 for the writing, directing and acting. Sly would however, get a percentage of the profits, if the movie made money. He agreed immediately.

The first thing Sly did when he got his money was to go in search of the man who bought his dog to buy it back. When he finally tracked down the man, he offered to buy his dog back for $100. The man declined his offer saying that he was not interested. Sly upped his offer to $500. Still the man refused. Sly again upped his offer, this time to $1000. The man still would not budge saying, 'No amount of money will ever convince me to sell this dog.'

While most of us would give up at this point, Sly knew that if he was committed to do whatever it takes, he would find a way. Eventually he did get his dog back. He paid the man a whopping $15,000 and also gave him a part in the movie as part of the deal.

When Rocky was launched at the box office, it grossed over $225 million and was nominated for ten academy awards (including best actor), eventually winning an Oscar for Best Picture & Best Director. Sylvester instantly shot to fame as an action star and lucrative offers came in for future blockbusters, which were to eventuate in First Blood, Rambo and the Rocky sequels. His eventual success came from the fact that to him, becoming an actor was truly a must. He believed that when you are committed enough, there is always a way!

CHEF LI: MENJEJAKI JUTAWAN SENYAP

“Anda patut menjadi kaya.

Sampai manakah kesabaran kita

jundulloh menulis "MENYINGKAPI MARAH"

Kita semua tahu tentang perasaan marah.

CEPAT MARAH, CEPAT MATI

DEFENSE MECHANISME

Sharpen Your Intuition And Grow Rich

Intuition, is it something you use? Maybe you call it by a different name. Gut feeling. The little voice inside your head. A hazy image that passes before your eyes. You blink and wonder if you are seeing things. Or you know an outcome with certainty. Before receiving confirmation by phone or person. Like a mother who wakes up suddenly in the night. She knows something is wrong with one of her children.

These are all expressions of intuition. I feel that it is very important that we start listening to our intuition now. Start to re-learn this language. Start to become fluent in its many subtle nuances and syntax. Why? Because we need new ways of thinking beyond our current thought paradigms. Our global problems need solutions that emanate from a higher level of consciousness. Intuition is like hearing messages from a higher consciousness. From the heart. From the soul. From the universe. It reveals our inner truths. Our universal truths. Yet it gets mixed up with head thinking. My head gets filled up with lists of things. Things I need to do. Things I should do. Things I don't wanna do. Lots of doo-doo.

Technology is speeding up our head thinking. Faster images. Quicker music. annoying txt messages. More advertising channels. More buttons to press. More stuff coming in. Attention span is getting very short. Hence the head struggles to take it all in. I ask myself, where is the melody of life? Too much rapid movement and loud noise. Boom, boom, boom.

So lets look at ways you can access your intuition.

1. Take A Walk In Nature.
Get away from the computer. Turn off the cell phone. Go for a walk within nature. Just be among nature. Your body, your head, your soul longs to hear the sounds and silence of nature. The song of the birds. The whispers of the wind. The breaking of the wave. The silence between the sounds. The silence between your thoughts. Go there now. Your intuition will speak when the head is silent.

2. Clean Up Your Energy Fields.
If your personal or professional life is stressful and soul-destroying than this will affect your energy fields. Your thoughts and emotions are like bioelectrical currents that radiate out from your body. Polluted toxic thinking creates dirty energy fields. It comes through in your words, your thoughts and outlook on life. How many negative people do you know? Do you like being around them when they complain and moan about life. Be careful because you will pick up their negative energy vibrations. Eventually they will pollute your thinking unless you consciously keep your energy fields clean. Deep breathing combined with isometric tension movements are very good ways of cleaning your energy fields. You can even do this when you are out in nature.

3. Start To Speak To Intuition Language.
You must learn to speak and understand your own intuition. Remember the times when you have sensed an outcome before it happened. Or had a bad feeling about a person or situation. Later your feeling was proved correct. Just remember these times. Identify the subtle nuances and syntax in which your intuition communicated with you. Maybe it was a tight feeling in your belly. Or a tiny voice that spoke within your mind. Not the usual mind chatter. Or an image that appeared in a dream. Then you saw it the next day. These are all signs and symbols that you must learn to trust. Each person will have their own intuition language. Yet it will be like learning a new language. Frustrating at first but satisfying when you can converse easily and sincerely.

Your intuition is like the language of the inner self. It can open doors to your palace of higher wisdom. Start now to share your riches with the rest of the world.

The secret: REVEALED

Inspiring. Motivating. Excites to infinity. What is it that makes THE SECRET is a powerful documentary of success?

Last night I accepted an invitation to watch ‘the secret’ from a friend. She’s currently doing an MLM business, and the Kuching branch is screening the movie at their business centre. This girl came to my house cycling one evening, and invites me to watch this documentary called ‘the secret’. What caught my attention is when she says the film reveals the secret of millionaire’s mind. It is a series of interviews with the millionaires.

So last night, I went to the centre with her. We arrived late and the movie was already running almost 20 minutes. There were almost 100 attendees and all of them look absolutely content with the movie.

THE TECHNICAL PART
It is indeed a documentary, series of motivational speech from highly successful people who walk the talk. Each story was narrated in interesting way with vivid images, playback, synchronized audiovisual along with powerful messages. Unfortunately, I can’t read the speaker names because I was sitting at the backseat and without my eyeglasses. But I can remember the motivational speakers are millionaires, businessman, ex-cancer patient, famous author etc.

THE SECRET INGREDIENT
The secret ingredient for this film is the concept of ‘The Law of Attraction’. Law of attraction reveals to you that your mind is a magnetic field. If you think of negative thought, you attract negative results. If you build a castle in the sky, you live in it and believe in it, you will achieve those dreams. Sounds too exaggerating? No, no my friend. Not after you watch the film yourself.

The secret is all about POWERFUL VISUALIZATION. these speakers assure you all you need to become successful is imagining you are already successful. you imagine driving your favourite car while sitting in your favourite couch. you imagine your dream house by drawing them in your notebook. you can feel the air of your wealth wherever you breath. although you own nothing yet to this moment, you BELIEVE what you visualize is ABSOLUTELY REAL.

i believe all of us can afford to do that, no matter how unfortunate we seems to be at the moment. Remember to put the foundation to the palace that you build in the sky.

i have so much to share with you about the high-impact movie, my story will go endless and endless. its a valuable experience to actually watch it yourself. if i could get the DVD, i want to play it 24-7, ordered dozens of it and give one to you absolutely for free.

my friend told me the DVD are exclusive. the movie is not for sale to the public and only those who own the permit is permissable to own the DVD. it is only available to the authorized people and their leaders dont even know how they can get the DVD.

but i believe we can get the movie anyhow.

How Learned Happiness Can Overcome Acquired Fear

Carefully, silently he peers around the corner and when the air is clear he ducks and dashes from one safe place to the next. His habitual reaction is ‘flight’. At the slightest unexpected movement or sound, he saves his hide – fast as a flash and silent as a mouse…. In the five years little Ben has been with us, there hasn’t been a single incident that endangered his life or harmed him in any way. Yet he is always on the run and trusts only one person and sits only in one lap.

He was a rescue cat; a half starved, abused and sick little creature – saved from feline hell just in time to survive. Now, he’s safe in a haven of gentle caring and still he scuttles, dashes and runs. It took me a while to understand that Ben doesn’t run because he’s afraid anymore, he runs because that’s what he has always done. The fear he acquired has turned into a habit that defines everything he does.

Even when the house is quiet and no one else is around, this little black fur ball doesn’t stride gracefully like any other cat, he moves like a flash and at best he trots. For the first 9 months of his life, that’s what assured him survival and now, long after the causes have been forgotten, the behaviour continues – a habit acquired through fear.

Watching him makes me realise how the experiences from early childhood create habits that become deeply ingrained – how unconsciously they influence everything we do. It also gives me a profound sense of gratitude that unlike that driven little cat we humans have a choice of replacing acquired fear with learned happiness.

Whether our early childhood years were marked by happy memories, safe surroundings and confident comfort or whether we had to dash and dive, undoubtedly these experiences will influence our self-esteem as much as our perception of the world as a safe place. And until the moment we realise that we do have a choice on how we allow these early years to influence our lives, we are pretty much their prisoners.

But then, when we understand that it is within our power to let go of the fear and learn joyfulness instead, something incredible happens.

We stop running, scuttling and hiding and we let go of the need to blame. As the realisation of our own power increases, the force that once dragged us back into the past diminishes. That’s when we begin to gracefully glide through life. But how do we ‘learn’ to be happy?

First, by making the simple decision to be joyful; and then by committing to follow this path ‘no matter what’. The great times will be when we are distracted by happy experiences and forgetting about the past is easy to do. But the moments will come when it all floods back and wallowing in what ‘was’ will seem the only thing possible. That’s fine – accept it and then decide to be happy again.

Make it easy for yourself by developing your personal joyfulness strategies – healthy ones, not the chocolate-by-the-pound kind. Write a list of things that would make you really happy and create a plan on how to use them when you need to.

My happy hormones flood my system when I take a long brisk walk, when I dance or sing along with a favourite tune, when I look at an image of something really beautiful or share special moments with a special person.

By making the conscious decision to let go of the less happy memories from my own past, I have learned to be joyful. I feel free of blame, guilt and resentment. On a good day, I glide through life like the cat who ate the cream – fearless, happy and free.

Meraih Peluang Kedua
